Thundering Silence: Sutra on Knowing the Better Way to Catch a Snake

It can become difficult to separate the teachings of Buddha from our own practice of them — a struggle explored in Thich Nhat Hanh’s “Thundering Silence.” Ideology is valuable, but Nhat Hanh tells readers that practice must adapt to the world in which ideology exists.
