The oddly numerous sightings and experiences that occur in both the author’s paternal and maternal families then allow him to compare and contrast experiences within and between families. While there are events where the best explanation is likely a natural one, odd patterns begin to emerge, and repetitive events occur years apart to different family members that beg for a reasonable explanation.
