Taking a sometimes-humorous approach to the realities of being a single father; the chapters offer common sense advice on various topics: from discipline, chores, and dealing with her moodiness to getting her to be ok with you dating.
Brian tries to capture both perspectives, parent and child, with the hope of bringing a common understanding.
Interestingly enough the experiences and suggestions described are universal and apply to parents and teenagers of both genders.
His narration is honest yet light and makes an enjoyable read.
