Sitting in his room one day, God spoke to Tavonne about writing a book about his life thus far. Tavonne initially sat with the whole idea with little faith, believing that whatever he writes will make any sense or have an impact. But the more Tavonne wrote he noticed something. A sense of relief was coming to him. He describes it in this book as “letting out all my baggage”. He speaks on his mental health and the situations, he faced earlier on in his life like daddy issues and wanting to kill himself. Tavonne felt a weight lifted off his shoulders. After writing a couple of chapters, he soon realized that everything he talked about in this book was based on his conversations with Jesus and his counselor. Tavonne overcame wanting to end his life not by his strength but through his faith in his savior Jesus Christ and his boldness to talk about the root of his issues that he was freed from a dark season in his life. He writes this book with faith that whoever may read it may find strength to face the darkness and to uproot the pain of the past. This book is written to give the reader hope that whatever they face they will overcome!
